The most important skill I can teach someone is how. I believe in not only helping students to understand the material but instilling in them a joy of learning. I want students to understand how to get to the answers, why the answers are correct and how to do it themselves. This skill boosts self esteem and confidence. Teaching is a special skill that needs a lot of patience. I think with positive thinking and encouragement a child is always willing to learn. Also each child is unique and treating them that way will result in the best situation. Children have different learning styles and that needs to be determined for a successful environment before anything else. I am a very driven individual and always looking for ways to educate myself. I graduated from Purdue University with two Bachelor of Science degrees in Health Physics and Industrial Hygiene.
