At the university level I have tutored Calculus I, II, and III. I have a great mathematical background and my major in college is Mathematics with a teaching concentration. I have taken classes regarding education and the delivery of information to students.

I have learned that all students learn differently. I am patient and like to determine how the student learns first so I can better assist them. It is hard to make math fun but I try to show students the real world applications of math and do hands on activities. My goal is to provide ensight to students so that they can become successful adults.

As an engineering graduate from Georgia Tech, I have a high level of skill in mathematics, from algebra to calculus and differential equations, and in sciences, especially physics. Also, I began my college career at the University of Alabama, where I was in the honors program. There I had to write numerous papers in the subjects of literature and history, while at Georgia Tech I became proficient in writing technical reports. Also, I have performed duties as a lifeguard and Special Olympics assistant coach, while working for Tuscaloosa County Parks and Recreation. I love teaching and I like to teach using examples.
