A Little Bit About Me...

I have always been driven to learn and pursue and education, this led me to completing my bachelor's degree in biology with a minor in history from UC- San Diego. I enjoyed tutoring math, science and english while in high school and continued in college. After graduating I volunteered in Chile teaching English which greatly improved my teaching skills and improved my Spanish Language abilities. I believe there are multiple learning styles. One of my goals as a teacher is to find each students' learning style and teach to fit their needs. In college I was a nanny to three middle school students for two years. While being their nanny I was also their tutor in all subjects but focused on math.
