During my time there, I focused on FAS 109 and corporate tax compliance. My FAS 109 experience includes preparing and reviewing the tax provision piece of the 10-K. I have broad experience in tax compliance came from working with big high tech companies in Silicon Valley. I worked on federal income tax returns along with multi-state income/franchise tax returns for companies with operations all over the US as well as in foreign countries. Communication has always been an interest of mine so I pursued a journalism degree and spent many hours in education to be an adept communicator through the written word. I also enjoy the person-to-person communication that is involved with the journalism profession. I have expanded my skills and knowledge through pursuing a creative arts career, as well. Before going to college, I formed the Oscoda County Youth Association with the goal of creating an organization that operated in the interests of the youth of the community. While in college, I spent three months teaching over 30 sixth-graders at Mio AuSable School how to play guitar.
