I have been teaching for over 17 years. Being very versatile, I have taught English, Ancient History, Medieval History, Computers, Art, and preschool. I started out teaching preschool and loved it. Then I went to a private Christian school (teaching completely for volunteer pay). From there, I decided that I love to help people learn. I went back to school. Students still will recognize me and I know that I made a difference in their life. It is a great reward to know that at that point in their life, I was supposed to be there. I believe in individual learning styles and matching the teaching technique to the learning style. We all have strengths and weaknesses. I believe there are multiple learning styles. One of my goals as a teacher is to find each students' learning style and teach to fit their needs.
