As a daughter of an elementary education teacher, I have been driven by a passion to teach children in areas where they show need. I am in my second year in Northern Arizona University with junior credits. My major is in Sociology, but I believe that helps me in pin-pointing the most important aspects of helping children individually in different social settings. I have done tutoring before, but never with a school district. My teaching style is vary diverse when it comes to my students. I do not believe in one teaching style because there will never be just one learning style present with any child. Every child learns a different way in different subjects and I believe in discovering the child's learning styles and basing my teaching around that so they are able to learn to the best of their ability. I like to use different methods to compliment and challenge their learning styles and thought, but I also use what they understand the best to help them learn what they need to know and so they can become independent and learn even beyond that.
