I taught Communications 101 to 20 "lifers" at San Quentin Prison as part of the Prison University Project. Some of these men had not been in a classroom in 20 years. I've also spent three years on the Advertising Review Committee for the California Chapter of the American Lung Association vetting all adverting, marketing and PR messaging for the marketplace. Lastly, I published my first book in 2012 entitled "Buzzkill," which is now used as required reading at Drexel University in a Psychology 101 course.
