I have over twenty years of experience teaching reading. I completed all of the Houghton/Mifflin Language Arts training sessions that taught California teachers how to be expert Language Arts teachers. My love for English Literature has allowed me to flourish in English class starting in elementary school. As a freshman in high school I was elected to be a peer tutor. I held the volunteer job for all four years of my high school career, specializing in assisting with understanding/editing grammar, the art of creating an A+ essay, and analyzing literature. Through my college courses I have gained extensive skills in many areas of study including math, computer skills, and the best way to study for a test!
