HTML is the first step in learning to write web apps and large scale web sites. I have over 7 years in HTML experience. I have picked up tips and tricks over time and am familiar with new HTML5 standards. I prefer a hands on approach. We will work on lots of programming problems, we will program a lot, and you will leave with a program to show and a greater fundamental understanding of the content. I first began tutoring at a middle school when I was earning my bachelors degree at San Diego State University in the mid 90s. I enjoyed it so much that I decided to pursue a career in education. After spending a year or so as a long-term substitute, I ventured into computer graphics for quite a few years. Eventually, I came back to the classroom to teach ESL to adults as well as Sixth Grade Math and Science.
