If necessary, I separate an idea into simpler terms, and help students learn each term before continuing. I give examples which illustrate a point or demonstrate a procedure. At times, my students write short essays, which I critique for sentence structure, word choice, tense matching, and organization. I have always been driven to learn and pursue and education, this led me to completing my bachelor's degree in biology with a minor in history from UC- San Diego. I enjoyed tutoring math, science and english while in high school and continued in college.
