Early in my career I worked with adults that were mentally and physically challenged. Upon graduation from college in the 80's, I taught adult education for three years. I then entered the business world, where I had a successful career in sales and operations management. In 2009, I chose to leave my corporate career and reenter education because of a desire to utilize my strengths and do something that helps people. I obtained my certification in English from the State of Connecticut in 2010.
