I am a college graduate seeking employment. I graduated from Herkimer County Community College and SUNYIT in Utica. During that time I spent 3 years tutoring several levels of mathematics and intro to financial accounting for HCCC for 3 years. I went from a student tutor to a part-time tutor in my time there receiving a CRLA (College Reading and Learning Association) certificate for my work and a great amount of experience in that time. I like to combine both direct instruction and hands-on activities when teaching. Along with my 4 years of Latin experience, it increased my abilities in the grammatical aspect of the English language. I also tutored college students while I was attending in first yr Latin and math. I took 4 yrs of French in high school, graduated Shenendehowa in 1974. Whenever a game can help solidify ideas, it is utilized and learning is always fun.
