German is one of my top subjects! I began learning German as a child, learned throughout intermediate, high school, and college. Having hosted a German foreign exchange student in high school really boosted my conversational proficiency as well as improved my accent. Having visited Germany 3 times also has helped to boost my fluency.

My focus is on the needs of the individual. For example, a beginning German student who needs help with grammar is going to have different needs than someone trying to give an oral presentation on various German dialects. With that it mind, I try to get people to get excited about learning German. German can be fun.
I have been fluent in conversational German for 27 years, having first learned as a child, continuing my learning formally through all measures of schooling having studied the language for 9 years in all. After growing up with both parents in the teaching profession I received my undergraduate degree in business from the University of Delaware. After working in the field of business, I realized the business world was not for me. I felt my calling was in education, just like my parents. That is when I decided to attend Drexel University to pursue my masters in education.
