I like to see what works for each person since everyone has their own way of learning. Then, I use whatever works best for them. Making students comfortable is important since they're more open to learn in that environment.
As I was taking college courses, I also taught swimming lessons, after earning the ARC Lifeguard and WSI certificates. I also tutored grade school children during college in basic subjects. In college I also tutored other college students in basic English, as my major was communication and I have a fairly strong command of English. Most of my teaching style is based on one to one teaching. I also have two years of experience teaching in a group. Most of my teaching style has been one on one. When I was working a teacher's position each student was working on a different level. But I did include several activitites that were on the same level of the whole class.
I, Chad Hanson started out teaching private piano lessons after I grauated from college. I have nine years of experience in the line of work. I taught in a classroom for one year as a teacher. I have taught title 1 for 3rd and 4th grade for one year. I have subtaught for about 3 to 4 years. I have tutored for about 11 years in all levels of math and basic reading.
