He has performed professionally in 25 countries touring with several bands and ensembles such as rock bands, jazz bands, jazz combos, New Orleans style brass bands, military bands, polka bands, chamber groups, and orchestras. He as played for numerous dignitaries including, 3 United States presidents, ambassadors, foreign presidents, and congressmen. During his time with United States Navy Band Southeast he was featured as a soloist numerous times on clarinet, saxophone, and flute in a variety of classical, rock, and jazz groups. I, Chad Hanson started out teaching private piano lessons after I grauated from college. I have nine years of experience in the line of work. I also have one year experience as a teacher's assitant, and one year as a teacher's position. I would like to continue my experience in the field of tutoring. I began teaching private guitar lessons while I was still in High School. While working on my Bachelor's degree in Columbus Ohio I taught guitar and tutored Spanish. In 2002, I moved to Florida where I began working on my MA in Adult and Secondary Education with a concentration in Spanish. I have completed the requirements of that MA degree but have not applied to graduate in that I am taking MA level courses in TESOL to allow for a second concentration under the same Masters' degree.
