Planning to be a Principal in the future

I plan on majoring in Elementary Education in college, then going on to get my Masters in Education Administration. Am currently taking all honors or AP classes in my junior year of high school, with a 3.71 GPA. I had experience with working with children last summer, and also have my CPR and First Aid Certfications.

My comments on tutoring Elementary Social Studies : I can problem solve and work with the student, many different ways, until we come up with a strategy that "clicks" with them.

Obtuse; willing to think outside of the box to get the student interested, even, excited to learn.
I have tutored fellow classmates in HS. I've taught my nieces and nephew to understand and love mathematics, as well as respect science, which is really just the real-world application of mathematics. I can explain many abstract topics in tangible ways. I love when I see that twinkle in someone's eye when something clicks and they grab onto the topic they once didn't comprehend.

I do enjoy helping students with their problems. I have a technique of visualization. for example, which is the first example I use. I tell the student to think of a tree. in the seconds you think of a tree, you don't think of just the tree. you think of the roots, the trunk, the limbs, the branches, the leaves. then you think of whats going on in the tree, right down to the point of the tree taking in carbon dioxide and giving off oxygen and water. Why is the tree giving off water. most people do not know that the tree is making water because it is attaching hydrogen to the oxygen to get rid of the hydrogen, acid. I wouldn't have a "professional" description for teaching style as my education was solidly based in the sciences. However, I believe that by teaching intuitive thought processes and critical thinking skills, students can easily adapt to the tasks given be they in science or liberal arts.
