The Friendly Math Guy Next Door

Although I can and have made lesson plans as a tutor, I prefer just explaining and working similar examples to whatever specific questions students bring to me in an effort to have them work through their own specific problems themselves with me there to assist.
Taught students ranging from 7th to 12th grade in subjects ranging from Pre-Algebra to Pre-Calculus for 2 years in a private school setting as well as after school tutoring in the aforementioned subjects. As a UCF graduate and even prior to that I have always helped in the area of homework and study. I have earned a bachelor degree in Psychology and I have started a second bachelor's degree in Forensics. I have obtained many tutoring skills in my various areas of study including math, English, psychology, and science.
I have worked with children since I was 13. I have worked in settings where I was a daycare worker, a nanny, and a substitute teacher. I believe that every child has thier own unique way of learning even though there may be a mainstream way of teaching.
