I have tutored in biology at St. Mary's University.I have 2 years overall of tutoring experience. I want to be a tutor to help students better understand the material they are having difficulties with. In turn by helping them I am also helping myself retain the information. I have studied Biology, Microbiology, Histology, Physics, Math,and other various biology subjects. I presently study cancer research at the University of Texas Health Science Center. I like to teach students visually with videos and models so that they can retain the information through visual memory.

Students deserve better math education and can do better with math. It is very important to teach students in their ways of thinking. I believe, with my teaching experience, math background and positive personalities, I will make a significant contribution on helping my students achieve higher math performance. I have earned two masters degree, MS in materials engineering and MA in secondary math education. And now I am a Ph.D student in math at university of Kentucky. I have experience both tutoring degree level students in Geophysics and in mentoring junior programmers in programming C and C++. My science knowledge is second to none, and I am an extremely enthusiastic teacher. At school my strong math lead me to win the physics prize, and I continued with my interest in quantitative science through to my doctorate. Recently I have been developing my own software application, which uses both vector and matrix math in its design. My teaching style has been to enthuse my students. I find the physical and mathematical models of the world to be fascinating, and try and show how exciting these models are to my listeners.
