I was raised as a bilingual speaker, Italian & English, and was always fascinated by the workings of language. After my discharge from the Air Force in Australia, while studying for a BA in English & History, I began teaching and tutoring in this field. I was drawn to the Linguistics aspect of my study and after comopleting a BEd degree, I went on to specialize in this subject in my MA. I now speak several languages. I think that a good educator is the key to success in a child's life. I can still remember my second grade teacher (Ms. Golf), she made learning fun and seemed like everyday was an adventure in her class. Sadly, not all teachers are like that. I do believe that all children learn in different ways. I think that if a child is given a chance and shown some patience, there isn't anything they can't acheive. A Little Bit About Me...

As a Fayetteville State University undergraduate, I did a lot of volunteer work with high school student. I also worked in the school's computer lab assisting students with classwork and homework. I have tutored students for the SATs. My specific field is English but I can also tutor in Spanish. I have an extensive amount of knowledge in grammar and composition as well as anything in the literature field.
My passion since I was 5 years old has always been teaching. I used to play teacher with my sisters and give themm stickers for job well done.
