A Little Bit About Me...

I have a simple teaching style. I teach according to the students needs. I try to get a sense of how the student learns best and let them direct me to what they need. I teach the student to teach themselves. I have had great sucess with my approach in the past, as this is a very self-rewarding experience for the student. I have often found that students soon catch-on and then begin to excell on their own. I have used these techniques to tutor algebra, geometry, algebra II and psychology, political science, anatomy and physiology. I love to see that look in a students' eyes when they "get it!"
I have obtained a bachelor degree in biopsychology from GVSU, which required me to learn many levels of science and math as well as anatomy and physiology. I have a deep understanding and appreciation for this field of study and have produced many reports and essays in the aforementi ... read more
