Reading is the Key to Success!

I have worked in the field of education as a teacher for 30 years. I have taught basic skills in foundations of Reading to middle school students. I have also taught all subject areas to elementary school children. The most memorable and most valuable experience in my career was teaching first graders how to read. My comments on tutoring Composition : I have a B.A. in Communication-Journalism, with a professional emphasis in Print Media. I also minored in English. I have an Associates degree in Communication with a professional emphasis in Journalism. I have been published as a weekly Columnist & served as Editor for a student literary magazine.

Every student is different, regardless of gender or age. Their learning style is different, therefore my teaching style has to be designed specifically for their learning level. Some students are audio learners, and some like myself are visual. But I try to teach in a way where they are really understanding the information for the long haul, not just temporarily for the specific assignment.
