Reading is the Key to Success!

I have worked in the field of education as a teacher for 30 years. I have taught basic skills in foundations of Reading to middle school students. It takes a trained professional to be able to lay out the framework children need to learn how to read. I have began to help students in the 1960s when I was a grade school student adn when I volunteered at Get Set, where my mother worked as a full time teacher assistant. Later, I worked as a councilor as a summer-time employee of the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania school system. I also volunteered, in the 1980s and the 1990s, at the Chapter Two Program of the YMCA and I volunteered as a tutor in the PASCEP program of Temple University in the 1990s.
