I have always loved working with children and at a young age I decided to go into the educaton field. I believe that children have an inborn desire to learn and it is up to the teacher to feed that desire by creating a learning environment that is rich in materials and activities. I also feel that each child needs a caring, safe, and stimulating environment to learn. We all learn at our own pace and in our own learning style. During the 2006-2007 school year, I worked as a daily substitute and gained experience in all grade levels.
