I enjoyed working with elementary students at Alexander II School in Macon during my 4 years of undergraduate study. I am a "kid-at-heart" who has a passion for helping other learn and succeed. I have training in the Balanced Literacy program in which the word study, reading objectives, and writers' workshop are combined in a one and a half hour block of student driven, teacher facilitated activities. These are ultimately shared in a whole group and or one on one setting.
