I have always helped people with their homework, particularly in when it comes to English and elementary math. I worked for wyzant.com for four months, where I tutored a little girl in Spanish and it was really fun, but ultimately she had too much on her plate so I stopped. A year later the father of the girl I tutored before asked me to come back, but by then I had a full-time job and school. Now I would like to go back to tutoring because its something I enjoy and I am also good at it.
I like to make learning fun by teaching according to what my students like. I received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English with a minor in Physical Science from California State University, Fresno. I received my first teaching experience as a substitute teacher. I next worked as a long-term substitute teacher for a year. I was then offered a full-time, permanent teaching position as a fourth grade elementary school teacher. This position lasted three years.
