A Little Bit About Me...

My experience in the area of Graphics/Computer includes 6 years of teaching the mac programs to students attending a multimedia vocational institute. My work experience is many years as a graphic designer. My Fine Art training has been on going all my life. I have taught children and adults how to visually communicate what the are seeing through the unique art that they create. I have a studio/gallery in my home for this purpose.
On the computer and graphics side my teaching style is to get you up and running as quickly as possible. It was a skill I had to develop during my 6 years of teaching multimedia student. A Little Bit About Me...

My desire to teach stems from my hopeful view of youth. During the past seven years I have been successful in promoting access to higher education to youth of diverse backgrounds by organizing educational workshops and/or working directly on school campuses. I have earned a B.A. in Communications with an emphasis in advertising and a minor in Chicano Studies, which has enabled me to gain skills in public speaking, creative writing and art. Also, I have great knowledge regarding sociology, political science and history.
As an undergrad, I excelled in the arts, history and social science courses. However, I lacked interest in math (I didn't get it) and failed college algebra two times!
