I've never really tutored before outside of helping my classmates, but even still I excel when it comes to teaching others tactics for reading and writing. I am extremely patient and studious when it comes to helping others learn, especially children. I graduated a year earlier than I should have due to skipping a grade because of my reading and writing skills. I took two years of AP English (Rhetoric and Literature) in high school and scored a 4 (out of a maximum score of 5) on my AP exam. My comments on tutoring Elementary Reading : Experience in teaching Kindergarten and First grade reading.

I got my B.S. degree in Elementary Education in 2004. I am very eager to help children learn. Children are like sponges, they soak up a wealth of information at such a young age. My experience consists of working as a long term sub for third and fourth grades in Fredericktown, Missouri. I have also substituted in the Pasadena ISD, Channelview ISD, and Sheldon ISD. Everyone can learn - it just takes the right presentation!

I am a behavioral specialist with 12 years of experience working with individuals between the ages of 2 and 19 who have been diagnosed with ADD/ADHD, Traumatic Brain Injury, emotional disturbance, Autism, Downs Syndrome, and other developmental disorders. This is what I love doing, and I have the patience to reteach in multiple ways over multiple days. An understanding tutor

I have worked with all grade levrls as substitute school teacher with range from pre k to 12th grade and worked for a tutoring company while turoring an elementary student in math. I have a masters degree and while obtaining my degrees, I am very familiar with test preparation. I have taken basic computer classes in the past and I am more than able to teach the basics such as how to save a file.
The teaching style that I have always promoted is to recognize that everyone learns on a different level and at a different pace.
