Over the Top (and not too expensive)

My teaching style has always been about quality. I know that whatever I teach today, will last forever with my students. So if I don't teach, they wouldn't learn anything and I never wanted anyone to ever say "She didn't teach us anything while we were in her class." I also know that I have a job to come to every day and so do the students. I want to want to come to work and I want my students to want to want to come to school, but still learn. So yes we have fun, but I aslo make sure that learning takes place first and foremost.

Composition is one of my top subjects! My award-winning writing career spans 38 years. Accolades include a Katie Award and three “Council for Advancement and Support of Education” awards. I have been published in national newspapers and magazines, as well as on-line. My syndicated column, “Lone Star Legends,” has appeared in 48 newspapers throughout Texas. My comments on tutoring Composition : I have taken upper level English courses for the past six years.

I have student taught for the past seven years. I have tutored countless individuals in English, Drama and American Sign Language. I am fluent in ASL and am very confident in my ability to teach others the beautiful language. I was heavily involved in theater for the past fifteen years and I can say that my experience has taught me more than any coach could and I am more than willing to share my experience.
