Retired Elementary Teacher- 25 years experience!

I am a recently retired elementary teacher with 25 years experience in the public school setting.I taught 2nd, 4th, 5th, 6th and 8th grades. The bulk of my career was spent in 6th grade. I also have several years experience tutoring after school children. In addition, I have completed 9 graduate hours in physical science. I am flexible in my style because each child is unique. It is important to address the needs of all groups. I incorporate a variety of strategies so that all are involved and challenged to learn. Like a doctor, I prescribe a learning path and adjust the strategies as needed for individual students' needs.
I began working in Tangipahoa Parish February of 1983.
