Organic Chemistry is one of my top subjects! I have tutored organic chemistry for 7 years. I have taught organic chemistry lectures and laboratories, and can help with questions on either. I can review notes, assignments, and tests with you. I can also formulate whole question sets and practice tests based on your professors teaching style and material.

I tutor to the students particular learning style. I excel both in individual and group environments, but prefer to keep groups smaller than 6 students in order to really work with each students particular style of learning. I encourage the student to understand the concepts to avoid tedious memorization. Additionally I believe children learn best in an environment where they do not feel intimidated or nervous. A Little Bit About Me...

As a chemist for almost ten years at the labs in Oak Ridge, TN and 12 years of teaching experience in TN and MS, I am highly qualified to tutor chemistry. I haved earned a BS in chemistry as well as a MS in Science Education. During the last 5 years I have tutored Chemistry, Biology, Algebra I and II.
I love the sciences and I love children; so what better way to express that love than to teach and tutor the sciences. I believe that all children are capable of learning. I believe learning is about confidence. I have seen numerous students doing poorly in courses because they were convinced that they were not capable of learning the subject matter. Small successes help to build confidence in order to move on to the subsequent challenges. I believe in starting with the basics, and making sure that the students truly grasps the subject matter before moving to more difficult concepts. Often, it takes several different approaches before a student is able to understand the concept.
