A Little Bit About Me...

I received two years of paramedic training at Catawba Valley Community College. I have taught nurses, paramedics and recreational therapists anatomy and physiology for 5 years. I also tutored nursing students in pathophysiology. I received two honors degrees from Western Carolina University, a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy (concentration in religious literature) and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. I am patient but firm. In order to be a success in the business world, one must be able to write and speak the English language correctly. If the student knows English, everything else in general business can be taught. Thus, in a tutoring environment, I try to make learning fun and make a game out of speaking and writing proper English. I believe that every child can learn even those that are handicapped.
