I received two years of paramedic training at Catawba Valley Community College. I have taught nurses, paramedics and recreational therapists anatomy and physiology for 5 years. I also tutored nursing students in pathophysiology. I received two honors degrees from Western Carolina University, a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy (concentration in religious literature) and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology.
