While earning my undergraduate degree in Physics, I took advantage of a work-study opportunity at Franklin and Marshall and became a Physics and Chemistry Tutor for the introductory classes. In addition to tutoring science students at college, I also was the TA for a class that explored the role of racism in America's history titled "America in Black and White". Since earning my M.S. from Georgetown University, I have been an adjunct lecturer of Physics and Astronomy at Queensborough Community College and an adjunct lecturer of Chemistry at Dowling College. I elected to be a stay at home mom after a successful career. I wanted a flexible work schedule and thought about tutoring. I found that I loved tutoring students ranging from elementary to college level. I found much satisfaction in students' improved grades and the mastery of the subject that I was able to impart.
