My comments on tutoring Reading : I am very experienced and enjoy teaching all students to read more proficiently at all levels. Often the Jr. and Sr. High students sometimes cannot read well hindering sucess in other subject areas.

I began my teaching career by substituting and volunteering at the local schools. I then completed my degree in Middle Grades Education in Social Science. When I began teaching, I taught Reading 3 of the 5 years I taught and fell in love with it. I am currently trying to complete my Reading Endorsement and follow up with a Reading Specialist degree.
I am a firm believer that all students can learn if given the proper tools and learning experiences. A Little Bit About Me...

I finished my BA with concentrations in management and accounting at Troy University in 2007,then worked for three years in an Accounting Office. I left there in January 2010 to pursue my Masters in Accounting. I gained valuable experience in reading, writing and the application of mathematical formulas through working in a fast paced accounting office. I supervised one to three employees, trained them and audited their work. I have never officially tutored a student, but I have trained employees on accounting principals and how to write to the IRS and clients, as well as helping out friends and fellow students. I am confident that any student can learn the material; however, I know that sometimes different amounts of work are required, as well as different teaching methods. I try all methods until I find one that works. My job is to teach the student, and I do not stop until they understand the material. I am highly encouraging to my students, though I do push them to work hard in order to succeed. I am currently a junior at Troy University where in which I am an Enlgish Language-Arts major. Over the past three years I have obtained various life-long advancements such as: Interpreting literary works, forming structural term papers, reviewing as well as writing essays, term paper analysist, vast communication skills and many more.
