While going to college at the UW – Eau Claire, I've been a math and statistics tutor for the past four years. I was homeschooled for the majority of my education which enabled me to assit my younger brothers and sisters in their studies. From my tutoring experiences last year, my teaching style would best be described as very proactive. Many of the students were extremely frustrated by the concepts that they did not understand. This created an apathetic attitude towards the subject. Due to the lack of interest that I observed, I decided to go through problem by problem with the students.
