I have had 22 years total of tutoring experience, worked for six different supplemental educational services tutoring providers, worked for three different online tutoring companies, and have eleven years of experience as an ESL Teacher. I have spent 2 years assisting elementary school teachers, grades kindergarten/1st/2nd. I was mainly involved in learning activities which consisted of reading, writing, spelling, and object identification. I was also involved in assisting the kids in group activities such as arts and crafts and outside activities. I've also graded students classwork and homework, and participated in story time, in which I read a variety of books to kids while providing mental stimulation as well as verbal entertainment.

I strive to include various learning styles when working with children. Some students learn best by listening or writing, while others need movement or tactile experiences to help in comprehension. I believe in keeping students engaged at all times, to minimize wasted time. Every child has potential.
