Reading is something I do for pleasure. It does not mean anything if a person can read the words, but cannot understand what the text is saying. I really enjoy helping others find pleasure in reading, and also helping them break down the text to understand what the writer is really saying between the lines of the pages. I have always had the ability to effectively teach my family, peers, and other classmates. However, I recently decided to get into the field of tutoring. My very first session, I fell in love with it. I am understanding that each student has different needs, different strengths and weaknesses.
