Experience Summary
I have always had the ability to effectively teach my family, peers, and other classmates. However, I recently decided to get into the field of tutoring. My very first session, I fell in love with it. I am understanding that each student has different needs, different strengths and weaknesses. It is my job to reward those strengths, figure out those weaknesses and strengthen them. I am a young lady myself, but I know that the youth is our future. If I am able to have an impact on at least one student and their educational endeavors, I am pleased. Education is the key that will unlock the doors to the future of our youth.
Teaching Style
I am able to effectively teach a group of kids, and I am also comfortable with the one on one teaching style. Regardless of the environment, I know how to make sure the needs of every student is met.
My Hobbies
I enjoy reading, writing and researching. Knowledge is something that never gets old. You are never too old to learn something new. By tutoring, I am able to show these students that there is so much information out there that is available to us, if only we would reach for it.

| Reading is something I do for pleasure. It does not mean anything if a person can read the words, but cannot understand what the text is saying. I really enjoy helping others find pleasure in reading, and also helping them break down the text to understand what the writer is really saying between the lines of the pages. |
