A Little Bit About Me...

As a student, I had the chance to participate in the Americorps program, where I developed and implemented programs for at-risk youth. My programs encompassed but were not limited to, ecology, animal husbandry, writing, reading, and the arts. Since then I have earned two bachelor's degrees, a BA in Education, and a BA in Elementary Education, with minors in communications and liberal arts.
Teaching comes naturally to me; I believe that everyone has the potential to be successful, given the right opportunity. This means asking questions together and seeking out the fundamental answers to questions. My teaching style first begins with getting to know and understand where the student stands in the specified subject, his or her needs of the subject, and then determining his or her strengths and weaknesses. Lastly, I like to emphasize how and when the aforementioned subject will be of value during the students career and/or lifetime.
