My BA degree was in Speech & Theatre. Who would have known that a shy kid like me would have excelled in public speaking, english, and theatre. I love the English language, even though I've had classes in French and Spanish. I started school when I was 4 years old (too early), and all my grade school years was challanged with education. Now that I am an adult, I feel that I have the experience to help children understand and find it easier to learn English and grammer, sentence writing, composition writing, essays, etc. Laid back, but encouraging.If a child is struggling, I don't think you should add fear and criticism to the situation. I taught college students computer science and applications courses at Sanford Brown College and National College. I taught 7th grade English as a second language for the Kansas City School District. I was also a substitute teacher. I taught English to ESL foreign language students using my guitar. I also let my students play my guitar and sing along.
