I am patient, warm, and pleasant. What I do is not so much teach the material as a way to learn the material. My methods are to understand the subject matter the students are weak on and learn it with them, displaying that it takes time learning anything and most of the work in understanding subjects are difficult. After closing my small business I want to indulge my passion as an educator. Directly out of college I accepted a position as Math teacher at a private school, teaching different levels of mathematics to 7th & 8th grade students. I have been tutoring since high school. When I was in high school, I tutored my brother in elementary level math. When I was in college, I tutored students in chemistry and math. I have a bachelor's degree in chemistry and have also had numerous math courses. I can tutor in any math subject up to calculus 2 and up to any undergraduate chemistry course.
I find that the best way to tutor my students is to find out what they are struggling with the most in a subject and then helping them with the basics in that subject.
