I am patient, warm, and pleasant. What I do is not so much teach the material as a way to learn the material. My methods are to understand the subject matter the students are weak on and learn it with them, displaying that it takes time learning anything and most of the work in understanding subjects are difficult. I am a firm believer that strict memorization does not allow the student to broaden their ability to solve problems of various flavors. I encourage the student to understand the concepts to avoid tedious memorization. Additionally I believe children learn best in an environment where they do not feel intimidated or nervous.
