Exceeded my GED tests and finished classes early

Enrolled in GED classes in late January 2011 and completed the courses within a week and took my GED 2 weeks later and passed in all fields with high scores or exceeding scores. Im 17 but willing to work hard and do everything I can to make sure the student passes and even exceeds on their GED. My comments on tutoring Reading : I am a bookworm and my favorite activity is to teach young students to learn how to read and then to love reading. Once children enjoy reading, they become voracious readers themselves. My favorite age group for teaching reading is First Grade through 6th Grade.

I have been teaching French to English-speaking people living in France since 1979. I have also been teaching English as a Second Language to French adults in a business environment and to high school/college students as well. I particularly enjoy tutoring reading and spelling to children K-12th Grade. However, since I have been residing in France for over 35 years, my speciality is also ESL and French to non-French speakers. My undergraduate degree was obtained at Agnes Scott College (Decatur, GA) and I went to France for my Junior Year Abroad. I am now moving back to the States (Savannah).
I teach all levels in ESL and French. My teaching methods depend greatly on the students as every student has his or her own learning style! I am very patient with young children as I have had four children myself.

I am quite flexible. I think every person learns differently and no singular method should be applied to when it comes to tutoring; this is not an assembly line. New college graduate with teaching experience

Love to Teach

I have always believed in "connecting the dots." Knowledge and learning cannot be strictly confined to subject-area teaching. For example, many academic subjects can be studied while one writes, makes art, to creates stories, practices problem solving, or invents solutions to problems we are facing in this modern age.
