I have a variety of teaching experience. I began teaching as a secondary Language Arts instructor with focus on reading skills, reading comprehension, interpretation of literature, and writing. I have taught students the writing process, research skills, and all areas of proofreading, editing, and revising. I have also been a tutor for homebound students at grade levels 1-12 as well as taught students in Adult Basic Education classes. I have also taught mathematics from grades 1-10 (includes algebra). As an undergraduate at the University of Mississippi I was a teaching assistant for a College Skills class and also a year long tutor at Oxford High School in pre-algebra. After graduating from the University of Mississippi I lived in Seoul, South Korea and taught students ages 5-11 English as a Second Language, including math and social studies.
