Prior to becoming an HSE Instructor, I tutored youth in a juvenile detention center. Currently, work for Dutchess Community College teaching HSE. I started working with Dutchess Community College in March of 2014 as a substitute HSE Instructor. In October of 2014, I was promoted to full-time HSE Instructor with my own classroom. I have had much success helping students through pre-algebra. With the fundamentals to algebra and the beginning concepts in geometry being introduced, students can struggle if their math foundation is not strong. It is important to address any difficulties before discouragement sets in.
