A Little Bit About Me...

As an educator, especially in mathematics, I want my students to not just arrive at the right answer, but understand the process, as well. I want students to have a solid foundation in number theory. I also want them to see the connection between the more elementary levels of mathematics and the more abstact higher levels. During my junior and senior year in college, I TA’ed a finance class called options pricing for two semesters. Options pricing was a difficult subject. I worked very hard to receive an A- for the course, which turned out to be my favor. I had insight to the intellectual hurdles other students had to overcome to master the material.
