I was a teaching assistant at North Georgia College and State University for three years. I assisted with laboratory sections of biology courses and taught them in the event of a professors absence. I provided department funded tutoring services during that time as well. I have taken the GRE and Biology Section of the GRE and received excellent scores on both tests in only one sitting. My comments on tutoring Psychology : A+ in highschool and college.

I am currently a student at the university of Tennessee at Chattanooga, where I am majoring in early childhood education with a minor in speech pathology. I am working full time as the head aftercare teacher at hickory valley Christian school where I work with elementary school children. I have much experience in teaching, I am also a current tutor with the Honors program, working with four students ranging from 5th grade to freshman in college. I am more for for the elementary age child, but I can help in anyway when it comes to school. I feel school is the first and main priority because it is what gets you where you need to be in life.

I have earned a bachelors degree in Chemistry from East Tennessee State University. I have more than 100 hours of volunteer experience in all fields of area due to being in organizations like Alpha Phi Omega, Phi Sigma Pi and President's Pride throughout my college career. I believe I'm qualified to teach computers because I use it everyday and know basically most of all the Microsoft Office. English/LA and Social Studies probably not as qualified but I know the basics, if I did not I would not have a Bachelor's degree right now.

My goal is to help each child reach his or her potential. The best way to do this, is to first identify the child's learning style. When this is defined, projects should be tailored to fit that style. I prefer to use a hands-on approach to any subject and present each idea being studied in numerous ways.
During the past two years, I have taught Medical Terminology at the college level. Previously, I wrote and presented workshops for early childhood education teachers.
