I have many years of experience working with students of all ages and abilities. I have taught in public schools, in private schools, with troubled and behavior problem youth, incarcerated youths (13-20 years of age), as well as home-schooled students, small group, and one-on-one. I have tutored students in all levels of math, science, English, Spanish, social studies, and history. I also have experience with SAT and ACT prep. I truly enjoy what I do. For the past three years I have taught first grade in Florida. For one year I tutored third grade students in a Saturday School program. I love the field of education and am especially talented when it comes to working with elementary-aged students (all subjects). I love working with children. I have helped with pre-K and grade school children with an emphasis on working with Autistic children. All children can succeed in school given the right tools; just because they do not get the idea from one method does not mean that they won't get it from a different method. I think that all children can learn regardless of age, learning ability or other status, if given a chance. I spent two years teaching and tutoring Autistic children. I aided in routine skills, verbal skills and dealing with change. I have worked with two different children on these skills.
