I have 31 + yrs of teaching experience, retired in 2015. I taught 3rd grade, and 4th, 5th, 6th, and 7th grade math. I am presently tutoring math at NCMC in Trenton, MO in Intermediate Algebra and College Algebra. I also have done some HISET teaching and Upward Bound. My current maximum hrs of 550 hrs of teaching from the Retirement System keeps me from doing the latter two because I am mostly focusing on NCMC tutoring. I am clearly interested in doing some private math tutoring. Having taught in the elementary and clear up through 8th grade, I am aware of different learning styles and attempt to do what I can to use a variety of teaching strategies.
