I would have to say that my teaching style is flexibility. I believe that it is necessary to gauge your students as a group and individually before deciding on which teaching methods would be most effective. I believe that naturalistic teaching is important. I also believe in a form of discrete trial training. It takes some of the basics from Discrete Trial and adapts them to fit the needs of the students that are struggling with certain subjects. Research has proven that all students learn differently and lessons cannot be taught primarily through auditory learning. A teacher especially one in the younger grades must engage in auditory, visual, tactile, kinestics and other learning methods.

MY love for words blossomed in high school and I pursued English and later journalism as my fields if study in college. I also most recently tutored elementary-aged children as a tutor with Champion Learning Center.
I believe that the best way to teach is to relate the subject matter to something that students love. For example, if a student loves to watch cartoons or play basketball, I would try to use an example related tot hat to help them.
